 On the first reports I have seen it seems like the conference did not make tangible progress, although I guess this kind of conference never is. Seems like it was agreed that Food Production would have to solve the problem in the long term a short term increase in funds for food aid would be [...] Just a word to say that its not as if I am unaware of what going on worldwide with respect to the sharply rising prices of food staples. I already blogged about this and what effect it would have back in early January as I was setting up my new blogs and sites. [...] |
