IDENTIFYING SUCCESSFUL PRODUCTS

Seeing Ilala Cream on the shelf for the last 10 years and finding this webpage in a major multinational's online product portfolio of 32 products, would make one think it's is a success.

But it tuns out, it has never succeeded,mainly because of the the success of Amarula Cream, Amarula is another cream liqueur, based on an indigenous plant used in traditional South African fermented beverages.

So simple analogies and reasoning doesn't work in food and beverages.
